Practice Nights and Service Ringing

We practise most Thursday evenings between 7.45pm and 9.00pm, except for the week leading up to Easter Sunday (Holy Week).

Sunday service ringing is currently from 10.00am to 10.30am. We normally manage to get up to 6 people for service ringing, although we ring if 4 or more people are available.

If you are a bellringer visiting the area please feel free to join us for our practice or for Sunday service ringing. The door to the ringing chamber is inside the church, to the right as you enter by the main door. We recommend you contact us in advance to ensure we are ringing that day!

Learning to Ring

We are able to welcome new recruits as teaching resource permits. If you are interested in learning please contact the Tower Captain for current availability and to see what's involved to train and become part of our bellringing team. You do not have to be strong or musical but it does help to have a sense of timing and a sense of humour!  You also need to be available once you have trained to ring regularly for Sunday services.
